Review by spreaditround

spreaditround SET 1: Sample in a Jar: Standard.

Also Sprach Zarathustra: Love the placement. >

Poor Heart: Standard.

Taste: Another strong version.

Dogs Stole Things: Standard.

Theme From the Bottom: Standard.

Swept Away > Steep: Standard. >

Limb By Limb: Good version. Funny banter. Not sure why Trey said this was the first audience to hear it as it debuted in Dublin?

Dirt: Gorgeous. Perfect. >

Harry Hood: Dude on the tapes that keeps yelling is so, so annoying. Solid enough version with a nice, consistent peak. >

Chalk Dust Torture: This one has slight minor chord jam in it, pretty cool.

Samson Variation: Standard, glad this never got any traction, not a fan.

Twist: Crazy version. Has a bluesy breakdown in the 8 minute range, goes on to for 5-6 minutes – goes into a very, quiet section – and then goes to deep, psychedelic space. This is a must hear version. >

Cavern: Standard.

ENCORE: My Soul – Standard.

Replay Value: Twist.

Summary: Other than Twist, not much to revisit from this festival set. I would rate this as a 3 out of 5.
